FAQ
What Vantage is, what it does, and how teams use it day to day.
What is Vantage?
Vantage is an AI-native portfolio management platform for R&D and product teams. It centralizes intake, AI-assisted prioritization, capacity-aware scheduling, AI brief generation, and executive reporting in one workspace.
Who uses Vantage?
Product leaders, R&D portfolio managers, PMOs, and product operations teams at enterprise software, financial services, healthcare, and manufacturing organizations. Roles range from VP of Product to portfolio analysts and individual PMs.
How is Vantage different from Jira?
Jira tracks execution at the issue level. Vantage is the layer above. It scores what to do next against strategy, allocates capacity, and keeps stakeholders aligned. Vantage syncs to Jira so execution stays where engineering already lives.
How is Vantage different from ServiceNow SPM?
ServiceNow SPM is a strong ITBM and demand-capture tool but was designed before AI was native. Vantage was built AI-first: every intake is auto-scored, every brief is auto-generated, and scenarios run in real time rather than overnight.
How is Vantage different from Monday.com?
Monday.com is general-purpose work management. Vantage is portfolio-specific: capacity per team, strategic alignment scoring, scenario modeling, and an immutable audit log are first-class concepts rather than custom columns.
How is Vantage different from Productboard or Aha!?
Productboard and Aha! focus on inbound feedback and roadmap publishing. Vantage focuses on portfolio decisions: scoring, capacity, cost rollups, and scenario modeling. The two categories complement each other and Vantage syncs to both.
Do I need a PMO to use Vantage?
No. Vantage is opinionated enough that small teams can get value in their first week without a PMO. Larger organizations layer the PMO on top using roles and permissions.
Can I import my existing intake and projects?
Yes. Vantage supports CSV and XLSX imports for intake items and projects. Imports do sparse updates so you can re-run them safely. Jira and ServiceNow connectors handle ongoing sync.
